The Third Harmony tells the story of nonviolence, humanity’s greatest (and most overlooked) resource.
What is nonviolence? How does it work? The Third Harmony aims to raise the human image and bring the ancient art of nonviolence into the mainstream of public consciousness. This twin development is essential to the continuation of human progress—it is the very foundation for a meaningful human life on planet Earth.
The documentary is based on 30+ hours of interviews with prominent nonviolent activists and scholars, scientists, teachers, practitioners of restorative justice, and others. The Third Harmony will launch in early 2020, first as a 30-minute version for use in schools and colleges. It is hoped that its success will lead to a 56-minute version for television and eventually a 90-minute version for theaters.
The Third Harmony is produced by the Metta Center for Nonviolence.
